Rudy Mawer and his companies are recruiting – Mawer Capital and ROI Machines is a world famous with high level biz partners and brand connections such as Hollywood celebs, Movie stars, WWE wrestlers, big US brands like RadioShack and famous entrepreneurs from the TV show Shark Tank and Tai Lopez.

We are looking for a stand-out, fast paced, culture driven entrepreneurial HR leader!

We have had a semi-full time HR manager in place for several months that is moving on and have all the basic systems and docs in place. We need someone to continually grow with us starting part time (20hr per week) and going full time over the first year that leads HR for my 3 brands + future brands we acquire.

(We are planning to acquire 10-20 brands in next 3 years).

We want someone who wants to build a world class culture, (you will be required to read WORK RULES from Google head of HR in first 2 weeks)

This is perfect for someone who is motivated and driven to grow with the organisation and be the leader of innovation around our HR company services as we grow from 50 staff (15 W2) to 200 across multiple brands and businesses!

-Someone who wants the simple life and doesn’t want to work beyond 9-5

-Someone who hasn’t worked with a fast paced serial-entrepreneur before.

-Someone who does not understand high level employment laws, someone who doesn’t stay up to date with legal rule changes, state changes, etc.  

To be successful in this role, you must have 5+ years of HR experience, with a good understanding of HR processes and state specific USA  employment laws when dealing with new and existing employees working in varying states, currently including FL, CA, TX, NY, and MI.

About Us:

Our companies are called ROI Machines and Mawer Capital – ran by the owner Rudy Mawer, a well known entrepreneur whos spoke on over 100 stages, and is business partners with Kevin Harrington (original shark) and Co-CEO of another large holding firm – Retail Ecommerce Ventures which owns Pier 1, RadioShack, Steinmart, Franklin Mint, Modells, Dressbarn and more large US distressed brands they acquired.

Support:

We work closely with our attorneys, and have one attorney on staff plus a law firm on call for very in depth employment items or sensitive issues.

Key Deliverables will include:

-Advise leadership team on HR Issues, process improvement, legal requirements, etc.

-Manage an effective and compliant onboarding process for new hires.

-Understand the differences and how to legally manage W2 employees vs 1099 contractors.

-Manage payroll for both of our companies, including bonuses and commissions, through Bamboo HR’s TRAXPayroll.

-Oversee our recruiting process and suggest process improvements to help us recruit for fit with our core values and company culture, and ultimately hire the best of the best for our organization.

-Lead, review and suggest updates to the performance review process.

-Review and revamp our other HR processes to match our company culture and keep us ahead of the curve on HR practices.

-Ensure employment tax and payroll is set up appropriately when we open in new states.

-Maintain compliance and payment on workers’ comp and other insurances.

-Other day-to-day HR work as needed from the team.

We are looking to recruit in the range of $30-40 per hour depending on experience and skills, starting at 20hrs per week progressing to full time over the first 12 months. Currently, this role is fulfilled by 1 HR manager doing 20 hours per week + with a part time assistant (We provide).
